We sat with the founder of The Campus Lifestyle, Oluwasola Victor, in a bid to draw back the curtain on an organization that has made the average student life its top priority.

Why TCL?

TCL exists because life in university is more than just learning. It’s stories, people, growth, creativity, and community. In an environment like Babcock, students are constantly building, achieving, struggling, celebrating, and evolving, but many of these moments go unseen or undocumented. TCL was created to bridge that gap: to highlight student experiences, create a space where voices are heard, and make school feel more connected, engaging, and inspiring.

What is your vision for the group?

Our vision is to build a vibrant student centered platform where students feel represented, inspired, and connected not just within the university, but beyond it. We want to become the go-to hub for storytelling, creativity, and growth: a space where students discover opportunities, celebrate each other, and feel part of something bigger than themselves.

What has TCL helped students achieve?

TCL has helped students feel seen - through our content and engagement, we’ve created opportunities for students to share their stories and talents, stay informed about events and initiatives, find community and belonging, get inspired by peers doing amazing things, and express themselves creatively.

What should readers expect as the semester rolls out?

This semester, expect consistency and creativity. TCL is bringing more interactive student-centered content, collaborations with student groups and creatives, fresh series that reflect Babcock life and strategic coverage of events, lifestyle, and student achievements.

What do you believe is your edge?

Our edge is our ability to combine lifestyle with purpose. We aren’t just about entertainment or information, but storytelling with intention. Excellence, innovation, and integrity shines in everything we do, and the authentic representation of students is an aim.

What is TCL cooking for students?

TCL is cooking something big this semester, stay tuned, and keep an eye on our social media pages to see what’s coming.
